Madun is the titular main protagonist of the series and the striker-captain of Golden Eagle. He plots to become a religious scholar and a soccer player.
Appearance[]
Madun have an ordinary Indonesian-people look with medium height for his age, he is often seen with a medium kopyah.
Personality[]
Madun is a caring person, patient, kind, yet cheerful despite his father always stand on his way. He never lose his cool whenever his team on losing side, always motivate his teammates to not lose hope. He believes that a Muslim have to do their best and never worry the result, as Allah will surely give the best one. However, Madun is shown losing his temper when his new teammates and Martin's provoked each other before inter-RT tournament final.
Madun also shows some sense of humor. He laughs whenever someone failed to prank him. He also jokingly pretending to not see Firman when Firman is right in front of him.
He is actually an obedient child, but his kind personality lead him to oppose his father, as he rather play football to help his friend and fellow villagers than obeying his parent. Madun speaks in polite manner and slight Betawi accent, only less polite than Fatur and Rayhan. He refers to himself with his name, and often call others with "us" instead of "you".
Story[]
Madun plots to become a soccer player, but his father despises it and always forbids Madun to become a soccer player. Despite this, Madun never give up to become a soccer player!
At first, he practices football in public streets, injuring many people from his misfires. He gets better after joining his school and local football clubs. Yet he has to hide from his father Syafe'i whenever he gets involved in football related activities, often disguising as Quran teacher of his friends or pretending to play somewhere else.
Madun joined Team RT 1 and RW 1 on the respective inter-RT and inter-RW tournaments. He is helped by Rayhan to attend the whole inter-RT tournaments without consent of Syafe'i, winning the final against RW 10. During the selection inter-RW tournament, Madun got late at the registration phase, which made him immediately rejected by the officials. Luckily, Pak RW of RW 1 helped Madun to register into selection, as Pak RW doesn't want to see Madun's talent got wasted. Madun learned some new moves from coach Rasyid of RW 1. The coach also helped Madun to deceive his father.

Madun now can play soccer freely. He is also now a member of Indonesian team.
Techniques[]
On the field Madun is a very agile player, blessed with great skill at juggling and controlling the ball. Interestingly, he lacks acrobatic moves commonly used by other players of the series. He is known as the sole star player of his team, to the point his team can't win match without his presence.
- Madun Kick (Tendangan si Madun). A powerful kick able to bring down Sumo's strong bulk.
- Raging Tiger Kick (Tendangan Macan Ngamuk). A kick started by doing tiger pose while at the same time collecting energy in user's foot. Resulting in a powerful kick capable to throw unwary defender up to the crossbar. Madun learned the technique from Rasyid.

- Pecking Snake Move (Jurus Ular Mematuk Mangsa). A kick started by body spin and ended with double snake pose.
- Friendship Kick
- Shadow Kick (Tendangan Bayangan). A powerful kick said to able to bend trees and limbs alike. Madun learned the move from a mysterious pious figure in his dream.
- Thunder Kick (Tendangan Halilintar)
- Fullpower Kick (Tendangan Fullpower). Madun learned the move from Hendra. He mainly use the technique in Mayor Cup along with Thunder Kick.

- Worm Kick (Tendangan Cacing). A curling kick started by Madun doing a snakehead pose, then the ball goes in unpredictable movement.

Relationship[]
Martin[]
Martin is one of Madun's ultimate rival; they has a very bad relationship although Madun still accepting and thinking Martin as a friend. After episode 110, their relationship starts to grow, however when Martin begin to act cocky again, the relationship was lessened again. It's unknown if in Tendangan Si Madun 2 their relationship will grow.
Anisah[]
Anisah is one of Madun's best friends, their relationship are ever-growing.
H. Syafe'i[]
At the first season, their relationship was bad due to Syafe'i disliking soccer. Their relationship is even worse when Syafe'i figured out that Madun caused they lost their home. However since a car crash happened to Syafe'i, their relationship grows in second season since Syafe'i allowed Madun to play soccer.
Zaenab[]
Zaenab is one of Madun's best friend. Their relationship are ever-growing. However, their relationship was not shown much in the second season. Despite this, Zaenab is stil considered as Madun's friend.
Rizal[]
Rizal and Madun's relationship was very bad at the first. Rizal has a deep hatred on Madun since discovering Madun is a better soccer player than him, making him one of the ultimate rival of Madun, the others is Martin. However, when Rizal joined an activity in a school, Rizal learns how Madun feels when he is scolded because playing soccer, and their relationship starts to grow. Now, Madun and Rizal are good friends.
Portrayal[]
Madun is portrayed by Yusuf Mahardika. Before becoming an actor, Yusuf was a junior footballer. He participated in many national football tournament such as Ahmad Dhani Cup and regional Danone Nations Cup.
Trivia[]
- Even though Madun appear to not crying in the series, he does appear to almost crying when his father forbids him to play soccer up against Reog Team. Madun also teared up when he self-confessed that he unable to make his father proud at the moment.
- His actor Yusuf Mahardika was 12 at the start of first season, which means the character most likely a first or second grade middle school student.
- The only time Madun has been really crying, is when Mr. Udin's car crashed to his father. This also signs that he really cares about Syafe'i.
- There seem to be a running pattern of a person helping Madun to deceive Madun in each arcs.

- Madun is only been one time annoyed by his father, when he figure out that his father makes a trouble in the angkot, as stated by Jono.
